How Good God Is

When asked about the heart and meaning of his new release, “How Good God Is”, Brandon Lake responded: “If God has been anything to me in this life, it’s been ‘GOOD.’ Even through every valley, storm, test and trial, I find that He is teaching me something and using it to make me a little more like Him.”

That same thought runs through the song as Lake looks back at moments where he came to know God in a deeper way, including as Healer, Saviour and Father. But for Lake, the song is about more than just telling his own story. “If there’s one prayer I have for this song, it’s that it would get into the head, heart, and hands of those who need a perspective shift in the middle of their own storm.”He added:“I hope this is more than an enjoyable song. I hope it’s a weapon.”
