Taylor Schmidt

Choir Director/Pianist

Taylor is a General Music and Children’s Choir teacher in Alamance-Burlington Schools. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has taught music at all levels grades K-12 in both band and choral programs. Taylor began playing the piano at six years old, and began teaching private lessons to children ages 4+ while earning her bachelor’s degree. Taylor has performed with a wide variety of ensembles on her three primary instruments of flute, piano, and voice with groups such as the VCU Symphony (principal flute), and the Richmond Symphony Chorus (soprano).
