Flowers

Samantha Ebert’s “Flowers” is a reminder that even in the darkest of days, God is cultivating something beautiful and that the difficult parts of our stories are part of the process of cultivating beauty. The core message is that hardship is not a void but a fertile ground for something beautiful to grow. The lyrics suggest that the “rain,” or the difficult experiences in life, are necessary for the “seeds” of growth to blossom into “flowers”. In the end, the song calls for a grateful heart, even in difficult seasons, to thank God for “keeping us there” and for the plan He has.
