Again

Jeremy Camp’s song “Again” is the profound realization that God’s grace and mercy are inexhaustible, offering constant forgiveness and redemption even when a person repeatedly fails and returns to the same place of weakness. It’s an honest portrayal of the struggle with shame and doubt after repeated mistakes, coupled with the powerful and comforting truth that God is always present, waiting with open arms to welcome the person back, showing His steadfast love and faithfulness.  The song begins by acknowledging the cyclical nature of human failure, where one feels trapped in the same place of mistake after mistake. The lyrics emphasize God’s unwavering  mercy describing it as “never running out”. Ultimately, the song is about receiving God’s redemption, experiencing freedom, and being able to “breathe again” in the knowledge of His constant, abundant love.
